Arna obtained her Bachelor’s and Honours Degrees in Psychology at Nelson Mandela Metropolitan University in 2000. She completed her Post Graduate Certificate in Education (FET) at the University of South Africa in 2015. Arna joined Let’s Talk on a part-time basis in 2021 and combined this with her responsibilities in the education sector. She has vast experience in working with children and became a fully integrated member of the Let’s Talk team at the start of July 2022.
Arna enjoys working with a variety of individuals. She has extensive experience working with children, teens and young adults. Her therapy style is interactive and Person-Centred. Her experience includes working with anxiety, depression, low self-esteem, career counselling, academic support, trauma, relationship counselling and self-care.
Arna’s warm-hearted and friendly style combines with her teaching and coaching experience in delivering interactive workshops and training opportunities aimed at parents and children. Her clinical knowledge in working with clients faced with life transitions makes her a valuable presenter on topics aimed at coping with trauma, career transitions and with couples facing challenges in their relationships.
Arna enjoys spending quality time in nature and camping with her family.
